About Mention Network
Mention Network is an AI visibility solution for e-commerce. We measure whether AI assistants recommend a store and its products when shoppers ask what to buy and where to buy it, explain why the answer is what it is, and help merchants fix it. The company was founded in 2024. Today the product is built for Shopify merchants and resellers.

Measure, diagnose, prescribe, fix
Shoppers increasingly ask an AI assistant instead of scrolling a results page. The assistant answers with a handful of stores. You are either in that answer or you are not, and until now there was no way to know which. We work in four steps, the way a doctor does.

Today that means Shopify merchants, and in particular resellers: stores that carry other brands' products and compete on being the store an assistant names when someone asks where to buy. WooCommerce and custom storefronts come next. The platform is the product; the app is a channel.

Mention Network started in 2024 with a broader question: does AI mention this brand at all. That question is real, and we still keep the early brand reports published, but it was too wide to answer well for everyone at once.
In 2026 we picked one front we could actually win. E-commerce, because the pain is specific (a merchant genuinely cannot tell whether AI sends shoppers to them), the action is specific (the things that decide those answers can be changed), and the outcome is measurable (ask again and see if the answer moved).
So the name stayed and the scope narrowed. If you find older material describing Mention Network as a general brand visibility tool, that was us, and this page describes what we are now.
Mention Network is not mention.com
We get asked this often enough to answer it here. Mention (mention.com) is an established social listening and brand monitoring tool: it watches what people say about a brand across social media and the web. Useful, and a different job entirely.

We are not publishing individual names yet. Rather than fill this space with a line about a passionate team, which tells you nothing, here is what we can say plainly: the company has been running since 2024, and the people building it are reachable at [email protected]. When we publish the team, it will be here, with names.
We have not raised a public funding round, we do not have customer logos to show you yet, and we are not going to invent either. What we do have is a product you can install and check for free, which is a better argument than a number we made up.
