Data Contribution Terms and Conditions

1. Terms of use

To participate, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction;
• Have the legal right to contribute the data you provide;
• Not be restricted from participating by applicable laws or contractual obligations.

2. Data You May Contribute

You may voluntarily contribute:

• Text data generated by your interactions with AI chat systems (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.);
• Only data for which you have ownership or full legal rights to share;
• Only data that does not include sensitive personal information (e.g., medical, financial, government IDs), proprietary corporate data, or data belonging to other individuals or organizations without consent.

You agree that:

• You are solely responsible for the content you contribute;
• You must ensure your data does not violate any third-party rights, including confidentiality, intellectual property, or privacy.

3. Data Usage Rights

By contributing data to Mention Network, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, revocable license to:

• Use, reproduce, analyze, modify, anonymize, and process your data for research, product development, model training, and analytics;
• Store and aggregate the data as part of our internal systems;
• Share anonymized and aggregated insights with third parties (e.g., data dashboards, reports), but not your raw data unless separately authorized.

We will not:

• Sell your raw, identifiable data to third parties;
• Access or collect any data unless you explicitly provide or upload it to us;
• Use your data beyond the scope described in this Agreement.

4. Ownership

You retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the data you contribute. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as a transfer of ownership.

Mention Network does not claim ownership over your data. You are granting us a limited-use license for the purposes set forth herein.

5. Rewards

In exchange for your contribution, you may receive rewards (e.g., points, tokens, or monetary incentives) subject to the following:

• Rewards are distributed based on the volume, quality, and usefulness of the data submitted;
• Rewards are non-transferable and may not have cash value unless explicitly stated;
• We reserve the right to adjust or terminate the reward mechanism at any time with prior notice.
• Fraudulent or automated submissions will result in forfeiture of rewards and potential removal from the Program.

6. Privacy & Data Security

Mention Network is committed to protecting your data:

• Your data will be stored securely using industry-standard practices;
• Personally identifiable information (PII) will be removed or anonymized to the extent reasonably possible;
• We comply with applicable data protection laws (including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA, and Vietnamese Cybersecurity Law).

7. Revocation and Termination

You may withdraw from the Program and request deletion of your contributed data at any time by contacting [email protected].

Upon verification, we will:

• Cease using your data;
• Delete or anonymize it from our systems (except for already-aggregated or processed outputs that cannot reasonably be reversed).

We may suspend or terminate your participation at any time for violation of these terms or abuse of the Program.

8. No Warranty

Your participation is voluntary and provided "as is." We make no guarantees regarding:

• The accuracy or usefulness of insights derived from your data;
• The value or future availability of rewards;
• Uninterrupted access to the Program.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mention Network shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your participation;
• Any loss of data, rewards, or privacy arising from your own negligence or misuse.
• Uninterrupted access to the Program.

Our total liability under this Agreement shall not exceed the total value of rewards you received.

10. Changes to This Agreement

We may update these terms from time to time. You will be notified via email or platform notice. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any updates.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
