Plans and pricing
Updated
Mention Network has four plans: Free, Starter, Pro and Max. Every plan checks your products across all four AI engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Claude); what changes between them is how many products you can watch and how much usage you get each month. Paid plans are billed monthly through Shopify, in your local currency.
What plans are there?
| Plan | Price | Best for | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Free | Trying it on your first product | Your first product's Visibility Check and full Website Audit, free, no card |
| Starter | $19/month | Monitoring your priority products | Everything in Free, plus unlimited products, Optimization Plans and one-click fixes, and enough usage for a short list of products |
| Pro | $99/month | Maintaining your whole catalog | Everything in Starter, plus 5x the usage: enough for your whole catalog |
| Max | $199/month | Large catalogs and agency portfolios | Everything in Pro, plus 10x the usage: enough for many products or many stores |
Prices show in your local currency at checkout, every plan is billed through Shopify, and usage limits apply. Prices and plans can change.
What is the Free plan?
The Free plan is where everyone starts, and it never expires. It runs your first product's AI Visibility Check and full Website Audit at no cost, with no credit card, so you can see exactly where AI recommends your store and what is holding it back before you decide to pay.
It is a real look at the product, not a locked preview: you get the full report for both the check and the audit. What it does not cover is your second product onward, or the paid tools that fix what the audit finds.
What do the paid plans unlock?
Two things: more products, and the tools to act on what you find.
Starter is the step that matters most. It lifts the one-product limit so you can check and audit your whole catalog, and it unlocks the Optimization Plan (a prioritised list of what to fix) and one-click fixes (apply those changes to your store). Pro and Max are the same Starter with more monthly usage: Pro gives 5x, Max gives 10x, for stores and agencies watching a lot of products.
How do I choose a plan?
Match the plan to how many products you actually watch:
- Free if you just want to try it on one product first.
- Starter if you are keeping an eye on a short list of priority products.
- Pro if you are maintaining your whole catalog.
- Max if you are running a large catalog or several stores as an agency.
You are never locked in: start lower and move up when you run out of usage, rather than paying for headroom you do not need yet.
How does billing work?
Paid plans are billed monthly through Shopify, in your local currency, on the same account you already use for your store. There is no separate checkout, no second card, and no invoice to chase here: plan charges appear in your Shopify billing like any other app.
Each plan includes a set amount of monthly usage that covers the checks, audits and optimization plans you run, and that usage refreshes at the start of each billing cycle. You are never charged more than your plan without choosing to.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, at any time, from inside the app. You can upgrade to a higher plan, downgrade to a lower one, or cancel, and every change is handled through Shopify. If you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the cycle you have already paid for, then move back to Free.
What if I run out of usage before the cycle resets?
You have two options inside the app: move up to a higher plan for more monthly usage, or buy extra usage as a one-off that does not expire. Your plan's usage also refreshes on its own at the start of each new billing cycle.
Is there a free trial?
The Free plan is your trial. It does not expire, so you can run your first check and full audit and see the value before paying. There is no separate paid trial to sign up for or remember to cancel.
