How do I know if ChatGPT recommends my store?
Run an AI Visibility Check on one product. Mention Network asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Claude where to buy it, then shows whether your store was named, at what rank, and which stores were named instead. Your first product is free.
Which AI assistants does Mention Network check?
Four: ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Claude. Every question goes to all four, and the report scores each one separately, so you can see that one assistant ranks you second while another has never named you at all.
How long does a check take?
A few minutes. It runs in the background, so you can leave the screen and come back. The progress view shows which assistants have answered so far, and the finished report waits for you on Home.
My report says Not visible on every assistant. Is the app broken?
No. It is the most common first result, and it means AI genuinely is not naming your store yet. Open any question row to read each assistant's original answer and see which stores it listed instead of you. That gap is what the Website Audit explains.
Why is one of my products greyed out with a Draft badge?
Only live products can be checked. A product that is a draft, archived, or not published to your Online Store channel has no public page, so assistants have nothing to find and the check would always say not visible. Use the Publish link, then check it.
Why does my report show N/A instead of a competitor's price?
Because that assistant recommended the store without stating a price, and Mention Network will not invent one. You are reading what the AI said, not what the web says. An N/A on your own row often means your price data is missing where machines look for it.
Can I see the exact questions that were asked?
Yes. Every question sent to the assistants appears in the report under its Search Intent row, read only. Pair it with the Evidence view, which shows each assistant's full original answer, and you have the complete exchange, question and answer.
Does the app change anything in my store?
No. Every permission Mention Network requests when you install it is read only: it can read your products, your markets and your languages, and nothing else. It cannot edit your products or your theme, so checking and auditing cannot alter your storefront.
Can I check several products or countries at once?
Not yet. One check covers one product, one location and one language, so run a separate check for each combination you care about. Checking several at once is planned. There are also no scheduled re-checks: you re-run a check yourself when you have changed something.
Do you support languages other than English?
Yes, you can run checks in other languages. Some off-site trust signals the Website Audit scores only exist on English-language platforms, so for other markets those criteria are skipped rather than counted against you. More languages are being added.
Does it work outside Shopify?
Not yet. Mention Network is a Shopify app today. WooCommerce and custom-built stores are planned, with no date set, because the measuring engine is the same and only the connector changes. See the Roadmap for what is coming.
How much does Mention Network cost?
Your first product's check and audit are free, with no credit card. After that there are four plans, Free, Starter, Pro and Max, billed monthly through Shopify. For what each plan includes and the prices, see the Plans and pricing page.
Is there a free trial?
The Free plan is your trial, and it never expires. You can run your first product's check and full audit and see the value before paying, with no separate paid trial to sign up for or remember to cancel.
How am I billed?
Paid plans are billed monthly through Shopify, in your local currency, on the account you already use for your store. Plan charges appear in your Shopify billing like any other app, so there is no separate checkout or card to manage here.
What happens when I run out of usage?
You can move up to a plan with more monthly usage, buy extra credit that works now and never expires, or wait for your usage to reset at the start of your next cycle. Your first product's check and audit never touch your usage.
